The film had scenes were I laughed so much. I really loved those classic Rowan Atkinson situations and his witty lines. The fight scenes were awesome and I loved how they made them humorous at the same time.

The climactic scene in the mountains was just epic. What I loved about this film is that it mixed suspense and comedy at the same time, and that was awesomely done.

The music composer must be commended for a rousing score, frequently referencing the Johnny English Theme, particularly during the splendid opening titles sequence.

I would have given it five stars. If you are a Rowan Atkinson fan you will like this. I would have given it five stars, but I like the original Johnny English a bit more.

Well made and produced, but I miss Ben Miller as Bough. The chemistry between those two characters really made the first movie.

Plenty of action and not a dull moment. Silly at times, but that is a Rowan Atkinson trademark! The video and sound quality is excellent.

Johnny English Reborn was a lot of laughs and well worth watching. Having said that, though, I did not Reborn just didn't seem to go as smoothly and used at least one take-off of the gag using the the pen that put the secretary to sleep in the original show..

I would recommend Johnny English reborn, but just be aware that it doesn't seem to be the same level of insane humor of the original. One person found this helpful.

Big fan of Mr. Bean and Rowan Atkinson's style of humor. This movie and others in the series deftly avoid all opportunities for humor or punchline.

So skilled are the writers at avoiding comedy, one must believe that they were trying to make a movie so unlikable that it would put a merciful end to the series.

Honestly, I'm shocked. My son and I laughed quite a bit at the first movie, and still bring it up now and then usually by simply saying "flebby" I expected something a little more dumb and silly, something I'd "tolerate", but I still couldn't resist it.

I'm so glad that I picked it up! First the movie is a little different mostly around Johnny English himself. He's been in Tibet training with Monks to become more in control of himself - but it's still Johnny English so he's pretty easily distracted and silly.

My favorite scene in the entire movie is a chase scene that I relate to the old "Pepe Le Pew" cartoons, the guy is jumping around, over fences, between buildings - but Johnny is using his training to remain wise and follow him through more conventional means instead of scaling down the building the way the guy that he's following is doing, he simply takes the elevator.

I laughed out loud at every turn, much to my surprise. There's another long chase scene where Johnny is in a special wheelchair that can go 60MPH.

If you watch the extras, you'll see that this thing was for real and not all of the high speed parts were done with a stunt double!

Last - watch the credits! He's cooking and cutting items to the sound of music, and Rowan Atkinson's perfect comedic timing shines through in this scene - it's a must watch!

Honestly, if you enjoy this type of humor or especially if you saw the first one and liked it, do yourself a favor and get this movie. Now that I own it I know I'll be re-watching it now and then when I need a good, silly laugh.

The humor isn't as dual-edged as, say, a Pixar comedy. But director Oliver Parker knows his genre well enough to lampoon the mainstays of the spy-flick genre, from impossibly high-tech weapons to foot chases worthy of Olympic medals.

Some of the punch lines are predictable - but they are no less funny for that. Although it might seem politically incorrect, the wheelchair chase takes both comedy and high speed car chases to a whole new height!

The Toshiba motto - "Spying for you" - is a hoot which does not pall at any point, regardless of how often or on what it is used. The gag reel on the film is a bit light - but it is well worth persevering with the 20 or so scenes in the "deleted" section - especially the scenes where English turns up at MI7 HQ and where he is being helped by Rosumund Pike in her flat!

There are also two potential "homages" to great comedy scenes: one is a Python sketch from "Live at Drury Lane" the wrestling match and the other is a well known Morecambe and Wise sketch, set in the kitchen.

A fanfastic film, probably on the cusp of a five, great family entertainment and well worth seeing. This super film is all you would expect and a bit more.

I got the impression that Johnny English Secret Agent was a little more competent than last time: but maybe only a little!

He's quite successful; in the end. I do love the Secret Agent's new secret weapon, the use of which had me rolling in breath-gasping laughter.

I refer, of course, to the metal tea tray, which is used with amazing dexterity, force, and rapidity, on some innocent elderly ladies [including one rather Specially Important One].

Clearly a "must-have" for all budding Secret Agents. The only ponderable is where to stow it about one's person. But that didn't bother Johnny: he always seemed to be able to lay his hands on one, whenever an elderly lady was around.
