It won me over. But Number Two is their masterpiece. Very creative in the ways they come up with to torture themselves and each other. The cringe factor is often a big part of the laughs.
It's definitely not for everyone, but as much as I like more sophisticated humor, I have to admit that no movie that has come out in the 13 years since has made me laugh as much.
Plus it ends with what may be the greatest practical joke of all time. In spite of the ever changing cinematic landscape, some films will always be "classics.
From the edge-of-your-seat excitement of the opening sequence to the chaotic mother-of-all-pranks at the end, this movie will take hold of you, like a mother clutching a newborn babe to her warm bosom.

The reason why I buy the unrated versions of the Jackass movies is because I want to laugh at the horribly wrong and depraved things they do that were too sick to be shown in the normal theatrical release.
Well, at least in the main feature, I feel they didn't deliver as much as they could have. Though there is a fair amount you can see in the bonus material, it's not that "bad".
The only extras scenes they have in the feature is one where Dave has a leach attacked to his testicles and screams like a little girl, understandably , and the "censored" box is removed from the horse semen scene.
Beyond that, nothing else struck me as being new or extra for the uncensored DVD. Beyond that, though, I love this flick. The jokes and gags are great and have a rewatchable quality to them over time.
Even the DVD commentary track with the Jackass crew is hysterical, giving an occasional glimpse behind the scenes, they did a much better job on the track than they did for the first movie.
Overall I'm pretty pleased with this buy and can hardly wait for Jackass 3. I tried all these stunts and came back as a ghost to write this five-star review.
I love this movie. This is one of my favorite movies, I watch it when in a bad mood. Exactly what you would expect if you saw the first one.
More gags pun intended from Knoxville and friend's. All I can say is that you will never view horses or ice sculptures the same after seeing this movie.

When jackass started as a group years ago performing stunts in their back garden and so forth,there was an innocence and something very funny about it,these days they have a budget and indeed some of the stunts featured here are rehearsed and scripted to provide the most glorious feel to it,whether thats against the ethos that they once cherished is a matter of debate but this is still a very good film of sketches,52 in all,if you are asking me if its better than dirty sanchez the movie then i say no,but there is still plenty of great scenes to embrace here.
